The Seward soccer teams hosted Lincoln Lutheran yesterday in games rescheduled from Tuesday because of weather. The SHS girls won 2-0, and the boys fell short 2-0. The teams will host Crete today at 4 p.m. at Seward Elementary.
Lillian Dalton, Reegan Bixenmann, Madi Pavlik, Luci Brockhaus and Dalton Amen each represented Malcolm as first-time triple qualifiers at the March 22 Class C1 State Championships in Kearney. Malcolm earned six medals at state, placing third behind Boone Central and David City. Read more in the March 27 SCI.
The Lied Senior Center, 1010 Manor Drive in Seward, will host a potato bake from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today.
