Construction projects moves into intersection

Weather permitting, the south half of the US-34 and N-15 intersection will be closed for construction, starting Monday, April 15, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Eastbound and westbound traffic on US-34 will be shifted to the north side of the intersection and will be in a head to head configuration with lane delineation. N-15, south of US-34, will remain closed.
Northbound and southbound N-15 traffic will remain detoured using Izaak Walton Road, 294th Street and US-34 during this phase of construction.
These phases of construction are expected to be complete before July 1.

Burn site hours change for spring season

Spring means it’s time to clean up grass clippings, leaves, brush and tree branches from yards. Seward’s burn and compost sites are open weekly to accept such debris.
The sites are open every Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to noon now through November, except on holidays. The sites are located south of town along Highway 15 at 1424 280th Road.

Milford hosts home golf

The Milford golf team finished with a 369 and fifth place at its home invitational April 10. Zephyr Mowinkel shot an 82 to finish second in the individual standings.
