When given the opportunity to vote for leadership in an organization or public entity, I look for people who have been involved. If a person is willing to be involved and support the organization or public entity I know that they will have firsthand knowledge in leading that group.
The primary role of the State Board of Education is to oversee the state’s 244 public schools. So when looking at the candidates for the State Board of Education in District 5 there is one clear choice.
Michaela Conway has chosen to educate all five of her kids in public schools. She is also serving as a locally elected school board member. This level of support, involvement, knowledge and trust in public schools is what I am looking for in a leader on the State Board of Education.
Angie Eberspacher, on the other hand, chose to educate her three kids at home.
So please join me in voting for Michaela Conway for the State Board of Education in District 5.
