Veryl Elaine Stutzman was born March 5, 1933, on a farm near Milford, to Wes and Ida (Kennel) Stutzman, the youngest of five children and went to her heavenly home on Monday, Aug. 31, 2026, in Lincoln.

As a young girl, she attended country school through the eighth grade. She married Dennis Stutzman on March 6, 1949, in Milford, and to this union, three daughters, Shirlene, Virginia and Terri, and two sons, Russell and Rodney, were born. Veryl was a dedicated homemaker who found great joy in caring for her family. She was a great cook and took pride in making a warm and welcoming home for those she loved.

Her family was at the center of her life, and she especially treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren. She was a loving grandmother who enjoyed making special things for them, including beautifully embroidered tea towels that became cherished reminders of her love and care. Veryl was a woman of deep faith and was known as a faithful prayer warrior. She carried the needs of her family and others close to her heart and faithfully brought them before the Lord in prayer.

She also had a gift of encouragement. Family and friends often spoke of how Veryl encouraged them with her kind words, thoughtful spirit, and genuine care. She had a way of making people feel loved, valued, and remembered. Whether she was preparing a meal, baking something special, stitching an embroidery design, praying for someone, or simply offering a word of encouragement, Veryl expressed her love through the many little things she did for others.

Her life was one of faithful service, love for her family, and devotion to her Lord, leaving behind a legacy that will continue in the hearts and lives of those who knew and loved her.
