County drying out to see what damage remains

Seward and Seward County officials spent a few days watching water levels in area creeks and the Blue River and waiting for water to clear flooded areas to see what damage was left by the Sept. 30 rains sent here by the remnants of Hurricane Polo.

TODAY - Postcard writing

Seward County Democrats will host a postcard writing event Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. at the Seward Civic Center West Fireplace Room. Cards, addresses and script will be provided. All writers are welcome to attend.

TOMORROW - Wellness Wednesdays

The second Wellness Wednesday will be Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 6:30 p.m. at the Seward Memorial Library, featuring Danielle Luebbe from Jazzercise. This month, the focus is on stress and recovery. As with every session, Danielle also features an optional 10 to 15-minute gentle sampler routine, ranging from soothing stretches to light cardio or chair exercises.
