The Staplehurst Village Board held their monthly meeting at 8:00 p.m. at the village eh all. Chairman Wurm called the meeting to order and announced the open meeting act. Roll call was taken with members present: Wurm, Ruether, Thompson and Meyer. Decker absent. the minutes of the April meeting were read and approved. The claims were approved. Fire Department Claims of 385.17 were approved. Members from Ladies Community Club were present to discuss raising money for playground equipment. Board suggested they check around for different quotes.
