NOTICE The Budget Hearing; Tax Asking Hearing; and Regular Meeting of the Board of Education of School District No. 2R, Butler County Nebraska, the School District of East Butler, in the State of Nebraska was convened at the school in Brainard, NE the meeting place of said Board on Monday, September 9, 2024. Attending were Board Members: Megan Kozisek, Kim TePoel, Sarah Strizek, Brandon Jisa, Ryan Pekarek, and Dylan Spatz. Also present were Mr. Michael Eldridge, Superintendent, Mr. Mark Cidlik, Secondary Principal, and Mr. Shawn Biltoft, Elementary Principal. Motions were made on the following items: 1. Approved quote ($10,745) from Matheson for two new MIG welders. School received funding for this purchase from Hughes Brothers in Seward. 3. Approved proposed 2024-2025 budget for all district funds. 4. Approved proposed 2024-2025 tax asking for all district funds.
