NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS Public notice is hereby given by the Planning Commission of the City of Seward, Nebraska, that a public hearing will be held at 7:30 p.m. on November 12th, 2018, at the Seward Municipal Building, 142 North 7th Street, Seward, Nebraska. Public notice is hereby also given by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Seward, Nebraska, that a public hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m. on November 20, 2018, at the Seward Municipal Building, 142 North 7th Street, Seward, Nebraska. The purpose of both hearings is to obtain public comment prior to the review and consideration of a proposed amendment to the redevelopment plan for the City of Seward, including a specific blighted and substandard study and redevelopment project. The property which is the subject of this notice and of the public hearing is generally located at the northwest corner of Lincoln Street and N Columbia Avenue in Seward, and is legally described as follows: Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, Duerr Subdivision, City of Seward, Seward County, Nebraska. All interested parties shall be afforded at each public hearing a reasonable opportunity to express their views regarding the proposed redevelopment plan amendment.
