NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A STATE BANK CHARTER WITH A STATE TRUST DEPARTMENT Pursuant to the provisions of Section 8-178 of the Nebraska Banking Act, notice is hereby given that The Jones National Bank and Trust Company of Seward, Seward, Nebraska, has filed an application with the Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance to convert its national bank charter to a state bank charter to engage in the business of banking under the name Jones Bank, and to convert its trust department within the bank to a state trust department. The main office of the proposed state bank will be located at 203 South 6th Street, Seward, Nebraska, which is the current main office location of the national bank. The proposed state bank will continue to operate a branch at 807 5th Street, Milford, Nebraska. Objections to the application must be filed with the Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance, 1526 K Street, Suite 300, PO Box 95006, Lincoln, Nebraska, 68509, within fifteen days after the date of publication scheduled for October 31, 2018. If substantive objections to the application are filed, the application will be scheduled for hearing.
