MEETING MINUTES Board of Education Regular Meeting July 13, 2015 7:00 PM District Office Attendance Taken at 7:07 PM: Present Board Members: Paul Duer, Lisa Dworak, Scott Pekarek, Jerry Rumery, Ryne Seaman, Curt Sherman. 1. Preliminary Procedures 1.1. Call meeting to order & announce Open Meetings Act is Posted 1.2. Public Notice as publicized per board policy 1.3. Roll Call 1.3.a. Action to excuse board members if necessary 1.4. Pledge of Allegiance 1.5. Mission Statement: The School District of Seward, in cooperation with parents and community, affirms that all students will have the skills to become productive and contributing members of a global community. The district is committed to development of each student academically, emotionally, socially and physically. 1.6. FFA Contract Days Motion Passed: Scott Pekarek made a motion to extend the teacher contract by 15 days for the FFA instructor passed with a motion by Scott Pekarek and a second by Paul Duer.
