INVITATION FOR BIDS SEWARD AIRPORT AUTHORITY SEWARD MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, SEWARD, NEBRASKA AIP PROJECT NO. 3-31-0074-016/017 Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. local time, on April 2, 2024, at Seward Municipal Airport Terminal Building, 1251 280th Road, Seward, NE and then publicly opened and read aloud, for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary to: Construct 10-Place T-Hangar with Approaches and Taxilanes. In general, this work will require the following approximate quantities: Embankment In Place (10,729 CY); 6” Concrete Pavement (3,336 SY); Construction of Pre-Engineered 10-Place T-Hangar with 6” Reinforced Concrete Floor and Footings, Hangar Electrical System; Painting; Seeding Plans, specifications, and bid documents are on file and may be inspected at: Olsson, 601 P Street, Suite 200, Lincoln, NE 68508 Seward Municipal Airport, Greg or Terri Whisler, 1251 280th Road, Seward, NE Nebr. This project is subject to the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation. The Airport Sponsor has established a contract participation goal of 1.54% for small business concerns owned and controlled by certified disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE). The Owner’s award of this contract is conditioned upon the bidder satisfying the good faith effort requirements of 49 CFR § 26.53.
