AMENDMENT TO 2016 ANNUAL WATER QUALITY REPORT For the Village of Utica, NE This is an amendment to the "2016 Annual Water Quality Report" for the Village of Utica that was published on 4-12-2017. Under the "Violations Table" in the published report the following information should have appeared as well. The Village of Utica has taken the following actions to return to compliance with the Nebraska Safe Drinking Water Act: In reference to Total Coliform violation in February, 2016, the Village of Utica took the initial repeat samples as required and flushed hydrants. The initial repeat samples along with the following month's samples came back negative, thus bringing the Village of Utica water system back into compliance. This action occurred while a portion of the water mains were off-line due to water main replacement. The "2016 Annual Water Quality Report" will not be published in its entirety again, but a copy may be obtained upon request in the Village Office at 466 1st Street during regular business hours. The amended "2016 Annual Water Quality Report" for the Village of Utica is also being posted at the three designated public places for your review, Village Clerk's Office 466 1st Street, First Bank of Utica 785 D Street, and U.S. Postal Service at 740 D Street.
