In loving memory of Willotte Dale Medow, fondly known as "Will," who peacefully departed from this world on March 2, 2024.

Will was a cherished great-grandfather to six, a beloved grandfather of seven, and a devoted father of four, with his three surviving children being Greg, Sheri and Brenda. Sadly, his son, Brian, preceded him in death. Will is survived by his adoring wife, Jean, his brother Norman, immediate and extended family members, and friends who will forever hold in their hearts.

Will was born April 6, 1936, in Seward County. He spent his life dedicated to the betterment of others, serving as the Dean of Student Services at Northeast Community College from 1969 to 1994. His passion for education touched the lives of countless individuals throughout his career.

On Dec. 21, 1956, Will married the love of his life, Jean Asmus, on what they humorously referred to as "the longest night of the year." Their enduring love and partnership were a source of inspiration to all who knew them. Jean continues to cherish their memories together.

A pillar of his community, Will was actively involved in various organizations, including the AFAM Masonic Lodge and Sesostris Shrine in both Arizona and Nebraska.

His legacy of kindness, compassion and dedication to others will continue to shine brightly, guiding and inspiring all those whose lives he touched. While he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will live on eternally in the memories and hearts of those who were privileged to know him.

A celebration of Will’s life will be held in Seward at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Transportation Fund or Sesostris Shrine.

Rest in peace, dear Willotte Dale Medow. You will be deeply missed, but your legacy of love and service will endure for generations to come.
