Wayne Tannahill, age 53 of York died Monday, Oct. 23, 2023, at York. He was born Jan. 12, 1970, to Merlin and Betty (Rucksdaeschel) Tannahill in Seward.
Wayne had worked for Sampson Construction in Lincoln for more than 20 years. He was a Dodge enthusiast, enjoyed music and collected coins and guns. He was a firm believer in the American Constitution.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Crystal; stepdaughter, Cara Schrader of York: brother, Gordon (Michelle) Tannahill of Bellevue; and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral service was Oct. 27 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, south of Waco, with burial in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family. Arrangements by Metz Mortuary, York.
