Resolution 2026-04 adopted declaring structures at 400 A Street a dangerous building per Section 2-405 of the Village Code; certified letters to be sent to property owners and filed with Seward County Register of Deeds. Alley highlights: Bid received from Jr. Bobcat at $1,500.00 to create a north-facing ditch behind the Post Office; additional bid requested, item carried to May agenda. Street highlights: Street condition at 145 South 5th to be assessed by Maintenance Operator; carried to May agenda. Maintenance highlights: State sanitary survey completed; invoice mailings going out May 1st with 75% return rate required; park to be sprayed for weeds; curb stop locating ongoing with GPS from Miller & Associates; asphalt patching options being priced; building painting quoted at $2,700.00 for full service, additional options to be explored; weed sprayer boom to be fabricated.
