Maintenance highlights: Chris Eckles passed his Wastewater Examination; Wayne Regnier moved to on-call service at $750.00 per month; weed eaters approved for purchase at estimated $895.00; flow meter calibration needed at $510.00; Miller & Associates to work with Chris to locate water stops this summer; board to provide input on new water tower design by April meeting; ball park locks and keys updated, bathroom repair needed. Clerk highlights: EPA funding approved for new water tower structure; audit waiver passed with one correction; nuisance and dangerous vacant properties to be addressed by village attorney via certified letters. Trustee Wilken highlights: Grant application resubmitted for well and wastewater treatment; Miller & Associates coordinating with companies to support the grant. Residents Comments highlights: Tyler Dickinson and Kaley Eberspacher, candidates for District 3 Commissioner, introduced themselves; Megan Eckles, Seward County Emergency Manager, introduced herself and outlined her role and goals.
