VILLAGE OF STAPLEHURST BOARD SPECIAL MEETING The following is a condensed form of the minutes. A complete copy is on file and available for inspection upon request at the village office. The Village of Staplehurst Board of Trustees held a special meeting on September 23, 2025, with Chairperson Frank and Trustees Hans, Wilken, and Stava all present. Trustee Benedict was absent. The Board approved a property tax request in the amount of $63,630 for the GBE Budget, with public notice having been posted on September 17, 2025. The Board also approved the EPA Miller & Associates Agreement for Professional Services, continuing work discussed during the May 27, 2025 meeting regarding engineering obligations, village responsibilities, EPA Community Grants Program Requirements, and project scope and compensation. Additionally, the Board accepted a street repair bid from Pro-Asphalt LLC for $51,000 to cover repairs from 2nd Street to 7th Street, both north and south sides, with payment terms of one-third down and the remainder upon project completion.
