VILLAGE OF GOEHNER July 6, 2021 The Village of Goehner Board of Trustees met in open and regular session on July 6,2021, at the Goehner Fire Hall, as posted in three places in the Village. Chairperson Knisley announced the location of the OPEN MEETINGS ACT POSTER. The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Knisley at 7:33 p.m., at the Goehner Fire Hall. Upon roll call, the following board members were present: Agena, Besse, Bialas, Ostrander and Knisley. CONSENT AGENDA: Minutes of 6/1/2021; Treasurer’s Report; Bills payable to date; Trustee Ostrander moved to approve the consent agenda, with second by Besse. RCV: Ostrander, Bialas, Agena, Bessie, Knisley. Motion Carried. Traffic report was sent to the board. House burglaries along Hwy 15 are on the rise. Be mindful of locking their houses and securing property. Same residence was reported last month with junk in the yard and multiple unlicensed vehicles. Another property needs mowing. Clerk to reach out. Property next to Chez Bubba potentially for sale. Clerk to end letter to mow property. Next SOLID WASTE RECYCLING meeting on 9/16/21. George fixed water and replaced pipes to property at 1044 Francis Street. Janice attended water class. New regulations require her to inventory what the water lines are made of throughout the town and into residences and report them by January. Horses need to be put out by lagoons to control grass, so the Village doesn't have to mow it. Clerk reported that funds were available to municipalities and had to be applied for by 7/3/21. Forms were filed by the clerk and official approval was voted on at the meeting. Motion by Besse, second Ostrander to approve the application of Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Funds in the amount of $13,892. RCV: Besse, Ostrander, Bialas, Agena and Knisley. Motion Carried. Insurance claim for vehicle damaged by mower, clerk to send quote to insurance company. Village received a check for hail insurance proceeds for $90K. Clerk to send Cross Connection Control Report out with invoices in Sept. Meeting adjourned at 8 pm.
