The Blue Valley Quilt Guild and Faithful Peacemakers presented Quilts of Valor to local veterans Nov. 6 during a ceremony at the Nebraska National Guard Museum. Quilt recipients include, from left: (seated) Billy Bird, Ryan Murphy, Chuck Matzke, Ron Niemoth and Rodney Hiser; and (standing) Erik Kirby, Crystal Kirby, Irwin Crawford, Lloyd Lipska, Paul Rexroad, Thomas Simanek, John Kasl, Andy Hartmann and Christopher Scott. Brian Krohe is not pictured. Also receiving quilts but unable to attend are Audrey Belew, Vernon Hermann and Steven Schulz.
