Unofficial Seward County results have been posted for the 2024 General Election Nov. 5. The complete list can be found at sewardcountyne.gov/elections.

The Seward County Clerk reported 9,335 ballots cast. With 11,603 registered voters in the county, that's 80.45% who voted. Across the state, 73.9% of registered voters cast ballots.

Among the contested Seward County races, the top three vote getters for Milford School Board are Tony Roth, 1,352, Ned Pauley, 1.069, and Sydney Carraher, 967. In the race for Milford mayor, Patrick Kelley received 668 votes, with Edward Gilbert receiving 232. Milford City Council Ward 2 saw Dainton Parks with 259 votes and Kelli Keib with 133.

The Village of Garland had a sales tax question to decide, and the unofficial count has voters rejecting the tax 55-53.

In Goehner, the vote for trustee listed Thomas Anthony with 87, Clinton Bialas with 78 and Shawna Agena with 76 as the top three vote getters.

In Utica, the race for board of trustees had Nick Bloebaum with 292, McKenzie Parr with 263 and Jim Swanson with 257 as the top three.

Utica voters approved continuing the LB840 program 351-61.

When it came to the statewide initiatives on the ballot, Seward County voted the same way as the state. State numbers are taken from electionresults.nebraska.gov.
