Trent J. W. Carlson, 38, of Utica, passed away Sept. 18, 2023. He was born Nov. 2, 1984, in Seward, to James A. and Mary K. (Nelson) Carlson.
Trent was confirmed at age 13 at the Utica United Methodist Church. He enjoyed family vacations in the summers at Allenspark, Colorado, was a Boy Scout, enjoyed hunting with his dad, going to swap meets and loved the outdoors. As a young man, Trent was always interested in how things worked.
Trent worked for Tenneco as an operator.
Family members include his longtime partner, Erica Smith and her children, Deven and Kayla; mother Mary K. Carlson; sisters, Tricia (John) Hakonson and Jana (Wes) Harens; nephews, Thomas, Aaron, and Micah Hakonson, Kaden and Noah Harens; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was receded in death by his father, James A. Carlson.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family for future designation. Arrangements by Roper and Sons Funeral Home
