The Regular Meeting of the Board of Education of School District No. 2R, Butler County Nebraska, the School District of East Butler, in the State of Nebraska was convened at the school in Brainard, NE the meeting place of said Board on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Attending were Board Members: Megan Kozisek, Ryan Pekarek, Sarah Strizek, Brandon Jisa, Laurie Smaus, and Dylan Spatz. Also present were Mr. Michael Eldridge, Superintendent, Mr. Mark Cidlik, Secondary Principal, and Mr. Shawn Biltoft, Elementary Principal. Motions were made on the following items: 1. Approved consent agenda: minutes and treasurer’s report. 2. Approved resolution to join the Nebraska Educational Building Association (NEBA) and appoint Superintendent as the district representative on the NEBA board. Items Discussed: 1. Celebration of Even Better - Emy Lyons shared her experience participating in National FFA Band. 2. Informational Items included: Negotiations Committee Report; Building & Transportation Committee Update; and Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) Information. 3. Tabled Policy Revisions. 4.
