STAPLEHURST VILLAGE BOARD SPECIAL MEETING The Staplehurst Village Board of Trustees met in special session on September 2nd, 2025, at 7:00 pm at the Village Hall. Meeting called to order at 7:00pm and the Open Meeting Act was mentioned. Trustees Stava, Frank, Hans, Wilken, and Benedict were present. The board discussed the two GBE budget proposal drafts for the 2025-2026 year. Two proposal amounts drafted were in the amount of $62,315 and the other $82,315. The board agreed on the first draft of $62,315. Once GBE provides the public with the agreed amount the village board will meet again for a special meeting to provide a final vote for the amount listed.
