Rob grew up in Kinsley, where he attended and graduated from Kinsley High School with the Class of 1972. He then attended Hutchison Junior College and graduated in 1975. It was there that he met and later married Linda Alt. The couple moved to Seward and Rob worked for Jirovsky Feigion Construction for a few years. He then started Holland Construction and proudly worked with his local community for the next 40-plus years.

Rob loved spending time with his grandkids and constantly lent a helping hand to his daughters. He loved fishing, trying new recipes and eating when someone else offered to cook. Rob enjoyed woodworking and giving handmade gifts to his family and friends. He loved driving white Dodge RAM trucks and going for coffee at his various stops, especially Café on the Square and JD’s. He was an active member of the First Street Bible Church in Lincoln. Rob truly treasured his friendships and spending time with those closest to him, including dear friend, LeAnn.

Rob is preceded in death by his parents; sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Jim McClelland; and two brothers, Max Holland and Randy Holland.

Survivors cherishing his memory include his daughters, Angela and husband, Michael Mueller, Seward, and Stephanie and husband, Cody Luebbe, Garland; grandchildren, William, Stella, Marshal, Remi, and Dallas; special friend, LeAnn Lowther, Seward; sister, Tina Haskell, Kansas; two nephews, Holland Haskell, Kansas, and Bart McClelland, Kansas; and numerous friends.

The memorial service will be Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 11:30 a.m. at Hillcrest Evangelical Free Church in Seward. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to First Street Bible Church-Lincoln or Southeast Nebraska CASA. Condolences may be left for the family online at www.zabkafuneralhome.com.
