Robert “Bob” Paul Bluhm, of Seward, was born July 19, 1928, to Paul and Anna (Schneebeck) Bluhm in Lincoln.
He attended a country school near Seward and then Seward High School, graduating in 1945. On Oct. 10, 1972, Robert was united in marriage to Gladys Ficke. He worked as the parts manager at Rolfsmeier Motors for 27 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Utica. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking and photography. Robert passed away Oct. 5, 2022, in Seward, at the age of 94 years, 2 months and 17 days.
He is survived by his brothers, Wilbur Bluhm of Salem, Oregon, and Royce (Joyce) Bluhm of Omaha, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Bluhm; and parents, Paul and Anna Bluhm.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at Volzke Funeral Home in Seward with family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The funeral service is at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Utica with interment at the Utica Cemetery.
