Ralph “Mick” Kehm was born Feb. 8, 1944, in Lincoln to Aleta Kehm, but was raised by his grandparents, Jacob and Matilda Kehm. He passed away in his home on the morning of Oct. 1, 2022, in Seward at the age of 78 years, 7 months and 23 days.

Mick attended school through the ninth grade at Lincoln High, where he then discontinued his education to work with and help his grandparents. He was the oldest of six siblings. He was united in marriage to Sandra (Stern) Kehm on Jan. 23, 1965, and enjoyed their marriage until her death on May 4, 1996. They were blessed with two children, Terry Lee Kehm and Sheryl Diane (Kehm) Tieken. Ralph had numerous jobs when he was younger, but he was employed at Concrete Industries in Lincoln for 37 years until his retirement. He loved westerns, wrestling, football and reading. Most of all, he loved his family. His sarcasm and witty jokes will be sorely missed.
