PUBLIC NOTICE OF VACANCY FOR CITY COUNCILMEMBER IN WARD 2 By order of the Mayor and Council and in accordance with City Code 85-1.3, notice is hereby given that a vacancy exists in Ward 2 for the position of Councilmember for the City of Seward, Nebraska. This vacancy is due to the resignation of Councilmember Chris Schmit who was serving in Ward 2 and whose term of office would have continued until the first meeting in December of 2024.
