PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that Seward County Public Transit is an applicant requesting financial assistance from the Federal Transit Administration, pursuant to the Federal Transit Act, generally described below. The purpose of the project is for operating assistance to provide general public transportation for Seward County in its entirety for Fiscal Year 2023-2024 and 2024-2025. Estimated cost of the project is $637,955.00. Federal Grant funding will be requested at the sum of $348,748.00 and State Funding will be requested at the sum of $124,603.00. The local share of $124,604.00 will come from the Seward County Public Transit Budget. A copy of the Application for financial assistance is available for public inspection at 320 South 14th Street, Seward, Nebraska. Written comments for consideration by Seward County Public Transit will be accepted at 320 South 14th Street, Seward, Nebraska, 68434 for a period of 10 days ending April 4th, 2023.
