PROCEEDINGS OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE PLEASANT DALE BOARD OF TRUSTEES The following is a condensed version of the minutes from the March13th 2025 regular meeting for the Pleasant Dale Board of Trustees. A complete copy of the minutes is on file with the Village. Clerk’s Office and posted at the following three places: the Community Hall, U.S. Post Office, and the American Legion’s bulletin boards The next regular meeting will be held on April 10th, 2025 at 7:00pm. Pleasant Dale Board of Trustees convened on March 13th 2025 at 7:00 p.m The Chair noted the posting location of the Open Meetings Act on the East Wall, as required by law. Commissioner’s Reports Buildings –Nothing to Report Fire –Easter Egg hunt April 6th and Taco bar Parks – 5 trees ordered 3 for park 2 for ballfield Streets –armor coats chip seal-still looking for new vendor-stop sign 4th and cedar Water/Sewer –Coliform negative, fire around well house-generator was ok-quotes for water tanks Other Reports Planning and Zoning –nothing to Report Sheriff’s Report-Emailed to board Building Inspector/Permits –1 active 2 in approval process Business (Review, discuss, approve)PD Baseball/Softball-6 teams-field clean up April 26th 2025 projects began 3rd base dugout, retaining wall, foul poles ready for install, back stop. 2026 projects goal batting cage refresh estimating around 20k. Doing Seward County gives application to raise money for new projects. Jonny Piening to do field prep-season employee. Jake Baker building permit-submitted permit. Revised and sent to building inspector. Community CPR-In our Hazard mitigation plan check pricing and interest. SSCWM funding support- community betterment funding available, checking into quotes fire station lighting and others. Well House Record Search-check for 1993 minutes for easement/deeds for well house spigot Water Tanks-discuss the quotes that we have on hand Fire Dept. Insurance-Working on paperwork for additional insurance for community event Park Bench-family memorial bench-Reviewed Revenue Report/Approval of Claims for March 2025Motion by Hill to approve the Claims and Revenue Report for March 2025 Seconded by Trease.
