Pat grew up in Lincoln, where she attended and graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1957. She began working at Lincoln Telephone and Telegraph right out of high school. Pat met Jerry through a high school friend, who happened to be Jerry’s niece. The couple was united in marriage Jan. 18, 1958, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Lincoln, and to this union, five children were born. The couple lived in Lincoln, Sutton and York before settling in Seward to make it their home. Pat took some time off work until the kids were all in school. She then returned to the telephone company until her retirement in 1998.
With Pat being an only child, she loved the Bosak family and being able to spend time with all her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Pat loved going shopping for anything and everything. She enjoyed needle work, crocheting and going for car rides. Pat loved going to the grandkids’ events and of course Nebraska volleyball games. She had a deep love of reading and going to the library for her favorite books as well as attending her book clubs. Pat also loved her dogs very much.
