Official Proceedings of Staplehurst February 28, 2023 The following is a condensed form of minutes. A complete copy is on file at the Village Hall. The Staplehurst Village Board held their monthly meeting at 7:00 P.M. at the village hall. Chairman McVey-Blath called the meeting to order and announced the open meeting act and location in the village hall. Roll call was taken with members present: Stava, McVey-Blath, Wilken. The following actions were taken: Appointment of Connie Wilken to replace Alloway. Approved minutes of January meeting. Approved claims. Approved claims for the Fire Department of 6,644.32. Tom Bliss with SENDD is new representative and explained grants that can be applied for by the Village. Certification of the project for the Rec Center planning grant received in 2021 has been completed in accordance to CCCFF contract. Discussion was held on Seward County Gives. Donations to Seward Gives will be held from May 1st -May 5th. Contract between the Village and Miller & Associates signing of Street Superintendent was approved. The following claims were approved: Mt.
