NOTICE The Strategic Overview Committee Work Session and Regular Meeting of the Board of Education of School District No. 2R, Butler County Nebraska, the School District of East Butler, in the State of Nebraska was convened at the school in Brainard, NE the meeting place of said Board on Monday, March 11, 2024. Attending were Board Members: Megan Kozisek, Kim TePoel, Sarah Strizek, Brandon Jisa, Ryan Pekarek, and Dylan Spatz. Also present were Mr. Michael Eldridge, Superintendent, Mr. Mark Cidlik, Secondary Principal, and Mr. Shawn Biltoft, Elementary Principal. Kari Stephens of the Nebraska Association of School Boards (NASB) facilitated the Strategic Overview Committee Work Session. Motions were made on the following items: 1. Approved consent agenda: minutes and treasurer’s report 2. Accepted Buresh Lawn Care bid of $500 per mowing for 2024. 3. Approved purchase of Apple computers for $93,832 for 9th grade and teachers for 2024-25. 4. Approved purchase of 2024 Chevy Suburban from Sid Dillon for $59,618. 5. Approved proposed wage structure for our paraprofessional staff and administrative assistants. 6. Approved LanMan Partnership Agreement with ESU7 for $84,150 for 2024-25. 7. Approved rain gutter bid for Dwight Elementary from McKinnis Roofing and Sheet Metal for $7,998. Items Discussed: 1. Patrons Comments. 2.
