NOTICE OF ADOPTION HEARING Notice is hereby given to Sarah Rhodes, formerly Sarah Bailey, the biological mother of a minor child born in October 2013, that adoption proceedings concerning said minor child are currently pending in the County Court of Seward County, Nebraska, in Case Number AD26-1. Through those proceedings, a Petition for Adoption was filed alleging that your consent to the adoption of the minor child by the proposed adoptive parents/petitioners is not required for the reasons that you relinquished your parental rights to said child and further that you abandoned the minor child. An evidentiary hearing to determine whether your consent to the adoption is required and the final hearing on the Petition for Adoption are both scheduled for May 6, 2026 at 4:00 o’clock p.m. CST in the County Court of Seward County, Nebraska, which is located at the Seward County Courthouse, 261 S 8th St., Seward, Nebraska 68434.
