Minutes from The Village of Bee Board of Trustees (Unapproved) March 11th, 2026 The general meeting of the Village of Bee Board of Trustees was called to order by Board Chair Chris Shipley at 6:58 p m. Shipley, S. Craig, Simpson, and Kirby answered roll call. Clerk/treasurer J Brown was present along with a few residents. The minutes were reviewed, and Kirby made a motion to approve the minutes of the regular meeting and the executive minutes, seconded by E Simpson, all in favor, and the motion carried. Treasurer Report: Both January and February reports reconciled. C Kirby Approved and E Simpson 2nd. All in favor motion carries. Sheriff: No Sheriff report WATER & SEWER OPERATOR REPORT Donald advised no violations reported and received no readings under acceptable level per report received. Report posted to Public on outside board. VOLUNTEER FIRE Red Flag advising a no burn zone. With the fire occurring from previous Sunday, discussion was they did have a permit to burn, but it was expired, as permits are valid for 24 hrs. only. MAINTENANCE Call to have dumpster emptied. Discussion to remove snow fence removed April 1 E Simpson called on recycling and was advised not cost effective with Uribe. C Kirby is still checking on recycling options. NEW BUSINESS The Board welcomes E. Hartwell as a new member. S. Craig approved the motion, E. Simpson seconded it, and all were in favor, so the motion passed. New Street Supervisor was nominated Reed Miller of Miller & Assoc. S Craig approved and E Simpson seconded it, all in favor, so the motion was passed. Resolution was completed, S Craig approved and C Kirby seconded it, Roll Call with all in favor and motion passed. Suspension of Hwy funds form signed and to be passed on to Miller & Assoc. S Craig approved and C Kirby seconded it, Roll Call with all in favor and motion passed. ANNOUNCEMENTS/PUBLIC COMMENTS Flyer to be hung for Easter Egg hunt from J Corner Question from J Corner as to who installs concrete pillars for plaques? CLAIMS Shipley asked for any questions concerning the claims. Added D Honeycutt payroll and check for Seward Co Sheriff that got missed on first cut of checks. C Kirby made a motion to approve the claims, E Simpson seconded, all in favor, the motion passed.
