Minutes from The Village of Bee Board of Trustees (Unapproved) June 10, 2026 The regular meeting of the Village of Bee Board of Trustees was called to order by Board Chair Chris Shipley at 6:57 p.m. Roll call: C. Shipley, S. Craig, E. Simpson, E. Hartwell, and C. Kirby. Clerk/Treasurer J. Brown was also present. The board reviewed the regular minutes. All voted in favor, and the motion carried. Sheriff: No report. WATER & SEWER OPERATOR REPORT: All samples tested below maximum levels. The board discussed meter pins and concluded that the Village provides the meter, addl expense is the property owner’s responsibility. VOLUNTEER FIRE: S. Two calls and announced a Back-to-School drive in July. MAINTENANCE: Window bids and warranties discussed. Building and ballroom repairs and painting remain under review. Brown will contact Seward Streets regarding mosquito spraying and maintenance. Recycling meeting scheduled for June 25. NEW BUSINESS: Discussion on available grants for street repair and resurfacing. Also discussed holding a community engagement meeting for residents, which will include a complimentary meal for attendees. A flyer announcing the date will be included in the June water bills. ANNOUNCEMENTS/PUBLIC COMMENTS The board discussed loose dogs and animal waste, emphasizing that residents should contact the Sheriff with any concerns. No questions about the claims.
