Michelle Marjorie (Westover) Garber of Glenwood, Iowa, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023.
Michelle was born Jan. 31, 1971, in Gordon, to Rhett and Sherri (Fancher) Westover. Michelle and Joel Garber were married June 10, 1995, in Seward.
Michelle was preceded in death by her brother Beau Westover; grandmothers, Lois Schmit and Frieda Ladley; grandfather, Floyd Westover, and aunt, Linda Homan.
Michelle is survived by her husband, Joel; son, Blake (Liz) Garber; grandchildren, Elenya and Bray; daughter, Rebekah Garber; parents, Rhett and Sherri Westover; brother, Josh (Kayla) Westover; grandmother, Sharron Westover; and her brother and sisters-in-laws, numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the non-profit organization, American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge in Iowa City. Hope Lodge provides a house for cancer patients and their families who travel for treatment. This charity was helpful to Michelle during all her long trips to Iowa City for chemo treatments and doctor visits.
A celebration of life will be in Nenzel at a later date.
