Lois Ann Bickel was born Jan. 24, 1930, in Seward, to Bill and Blanche (Soss) Schulz and passed away Feb. 15, 2023, in Edina, Minnesota, at the age of 93.
Lois had a strong faith and was a life-long member of Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, where she enjoyed being involved in her church circle and the annual antique show. She loved playing Bridge and antiquing with friends. Lois was a sports fan (keeping up with her sons), and loved the Minnesota Twins and the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Her favorite times were summers at the family cabin, Pine Patch in Brainerd, with her family and her beloved four-legged companion, Honey.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Blanche Schulz, and her husband, Don.
She is survived by loving sons, Bill and Don (Paula); granddaughter, Madeleine (Dan) Cooney; great-granddaughter, Rae; and grandson, David (Cait) Bickel. Memorial contributions are suggested to Mount Olivet Lutheran Church of the Pines Camp.
Family will receive friends at 10 a.m. Monday, March 27, St. John Lutheran Church in Seward with a memorial service at 11 a.m. Inurnment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery.
