Kim Mills, 67, of Lincoln passed away May 25, 2026, after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Providence Hospital on Aug. 23, 1958, in Lincoln, to Vernon and Doris (Oxley) Lostroh.
Kim grew up on a farm near Pleasant Dale. A graduate of Seward High School, Kim was a lifelong Seward Bluejays booster. As a youngster, she was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in rural Lincoln. After attending Lincoln School of Commerce, Kim made Lincoln her home and joined Grace Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her former husband and dear friend, Shannon Mills; sister and brother-in-law, Sherry Cox and Bill Bonacker; and uncle and aunt, Leon and Dianne Lostroh. She was preceded in death by her parents and aunt, Kathleen Lostroh.
At Kim’s request, no memorial services will be conducted. Memorial contributions in Kim’s memory may be made to Capitol Humane Society.
