Kendy Marie (Ross) Darling was born Feb. 10, 1949, to Kenneth and Lola (Chrisp) Ross in Hastings, and entered God’s Kingdom on July 8, 2023, in Seward, at the age of 74.
Kendy graduated from Central City High School with the Class of 1967. She later met Richard Darling and was united in marriage Feb. 17, 1990, in Omaha. Kendy worked as an executive secretary for Gov. Norbert Tiemann and she was a real estate agent for Century 21 in Grand Island and Omaha. She was then employed at Methodist Hospital in Omaha in the education department. Kendy enjoyed playing the piano, card games, shopping and spending time with her family and friends.
Kendy is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Ross; and husband, Richard Darling.
Survivors cherishing her memory include her mother, Lola Ross; siblings and spouses, Jerel and wife, Kathy Ross, Kim and wife, Diana Ross, and Michele and husband, Marvin Jakub; step-son and wife, Jared and Jill Darling; step-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Cole and Tessa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Kendy requested no services to be conducted.
