JUNE 9, 2026 COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS Board of Commissioner Meetings are held each Tuesday morning in the Seward County Courthouse at 9:00 a.m., except for the first Tuesday of each month when meetings will be held at 8:30 a.m. Notice of each meeting is posted on the Courthouse bulletin board and on the Commissioner’s room door. The agenda for all meetings is kept continually current and is available for public inspection at the County Clerk’s Office during normal business hours. The agenda is held open until one business day prior to the meeting for appearance before the Board. The Board has the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting. Hladky gave an update of her department. Convened as the Board of Commissioners. Approved minutes of June 2, 2026. Highway Superintendent, Jon Regnier gave an update of his department. Commissioners gave reports of their activities. Opened bids for rock and gravel for the Road Department and awarded bids to all companies. Approved authorization of execution of agreement with NDOT for road project. Discussion was held on a step plan pay proposal request for the detention center. Appointed Brent Schluckebier to the Planning Commissioner for 3-year term. Approved consent agenda consisting of: May 2026 Fee Reports for Clerk of District Court, County Clerk and Zoning; Ag Society request to place sign on courthouse lawn.
