JULY 21, 2026 COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS Board of Commissioner Meetings are held each Tuesday morning in the Seward County Courthouse at 9:00 a.m. Notice of each meeting is posted on the Courthouse bulletin board and on the Commissioner’s room door. The agenda for all meetings is kept continually current and is available for public inspection at the County Clerk’s Office during normal business hours. The agenda is held open until one business day prior to the meeting for appearance before the Board. The Board has the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting. Held Protest Hearings. Approved Assessor’s Change of Valuation Notices. Approved acceptance of Assessor’s Three Year Plan of Assessment. Hladky gave an update of her department. Convened as the Board of Commissioners. Approved minutes of July 14, 2026. Commissioners gave reports of their activities. Approved authorization of Chair to sign 2025 agreement with NEMA for Emergency Management Performance Grant. Representatives of Blue Valley Community Action gave annual reports on the organization. Approved appointment of Jalisa Gruhn as the Public Transit Director. Held Executive Session to discuss strategy and potential litigation. Discussion was held on payment options for the VMS System and Security for the Justice Center. Held quarterly jail inspection.
