Jeremy Tate Conard

Jeremy Conard was born June 7, 1971, to Walter and LaVerne (Winkelman) Conard in Aurora. He graduated from Norris High School in 1990. He then attended and graduated from ITT Institute in Omaha. Jeremy was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing abstract art. He liked watching The History Channel and Nebraska football. Jeremy was a huge Star Wars fan who also liked Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica. He was a friendly, kind-hearted soul who truly loved his family. He was always genuinely interested in what was going on in other peoples’ lives. He was very forgiving and always made the best of any situation, even when things went wrong. He had a heart of gold and loved his Father in heaven.

Jeremy passed away Jan. 7, 2017, in Omaha at the age of 45 years and 7 months.

He is survived by his mother, LaVerne (Imad) Raad of Omaha; father, Walter (Janet) Conard of Riverton, Wyoming; daughter, Haleigh Conard of Lincoln; brother, Seth (Katie) Conard of Omaha; sisters, Kelly (Pat) DeGroot of Omaha, Peiper (Jeff) Neiman of Fairmont and Abigail (Dominec) Roti of Leadville, Colorado.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alvin and Bonnie Winkelman; and uncle, Alvin “Al” D. Winkelman.

A funeral service was held Jan. 12, 2017, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Utica, with the Rev. Jon Dunbar officiating. Casketbearers were Devon Liston, Troy Naber, Jerry Palmer, Stacey Owens, Jeff Neiman and Ron Hulshizer. Interment was in the Utica Cemetery.
