JANUARY 24, 2023 COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS Boards of Commissioner Meetings are held each Tuesday morning in the Seward County Courthouse at 9:00 a.m., except for the first Tuesday of each month when meetings will be held at 8:30 a.m. Notice of each meeting is posted on the Courthouse bulletin board and on the Commissioner’s room door. The agenda for all meetings is kept continually current and is available for public inspection at the County Clerk’s Office during normal business hours. The agenda is held open until one business day prior to the meeting for appearance before the Board. The Board has the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting. Approved vehicle tax exemption, tax list corrections and change of valuation notices. Hladky gave an update of her office. Convened as the Board of Commissioners. Approved minutes of January 17, 2023. Officials gave updates of their offices. Approved vehicle insurance reimbursement. Commissioners gave reports of their activities. Approved agreement with Wellbeing Initiative, Inc. for services at Detention Center. Accepted County Treasurer’s Semi-Annual Report. Approved County Clerk’s Updated Schedule of Fees. Discussion was held on an address change for Tim Curtis. Executive Session was held for personnel. Approved contract with Village of Pleasant Dale for patrolling services. Approved agreement with Cordova for Lift Station Project. Discussions were held on infrastructure related grants and disbursement of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds.
