Edward Henry Arthur Mueller was born Jan. 21, 1937, to Emma Sophia Johanna Lydia Gottula Mueller, and Reinhardt Christian Louis Mueller, in Warsaw, Missouri. Edward married Gene Marie Basinger in Cameron, Texas, on July 24, 1959. They had three children together, Sue Ann, Patricia Anita, and Mark Walter Louis. Edward married Seraphine Cyrile Moulandze in Poli, Nord (North), Cameroun, on Aug. 21, 2000. Edward was a Christian servant and served as a teacher, principal and as a Bible Translation and Literacy Missionary in Sierra Leone and Cameroun. Edward passed on peacefully June 25, 2022, at a hospital in Lincoln.

Edward is survived by his three children: Sue Ann Warren of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Patricia and John Imig of Farmer City, Illinois, and Mark Mueller of Staplehurst; two brothers and their wives, Martin and Paula of Omaha, and Henry and Gloria of Deale, Maryland; three sisters, Emily Schroer, Rosalie Volz and Mary and her husband Steve Spensley all of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and three grandchildren, Lucas, Amaryllis and Matthias Imig. Edward was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Dorothy.

A signing of the remembrance book will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, at Volzke Funeral Home in Seward. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 7, at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward with inurnment at the Seward Cemetery.
