DECEMBER 23, 2025 COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS Board of Commissioner Meetings are held each Tuesday morning in the Seward County Courthouse at 9:00 a.m., except for the first Tuesday of each month when meetings will be held at 8:30 a.m. Notice of each meeting is posted on the Courthouse bulletin board and on the Commissioner’s room door. The agenda for all meetings is kept continually current and is available for public inspection at the County Clerk’s Office during normal business hours. The agenda is held open until one business day prior to the meeting for appearance before the Board. The Board has the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting. Hladky gave an update of her department. Convened as the Board of Commissioners. Approved minutes of December 16, 2025. Highway Supt., Jon Regnier gave an update of his department. Detention Center Director, Sara Stenger presented Maci Dion with a plaque recognizing her as 2025 Detention Center Employee of the Year. Approved request for hiring bonus for Corrections Officer for Detention Center, tier 3. Held Executive Session for personnel. Commissioners gave reports of their activities. Approved Chair to sign agreement with the Department of Transportation for the Safe Streets and Roads for All (“SS4A”) Grant. Approved signing letter to Four Corners Health Department requesting a consistent date and time for Board of Health meetings. Approved the Seward and Butler Counties’ FY2027 Community Based Juvenile Services CB & EB Applications.
