COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS Boards of Commissioner Meetings are held each Tuesday morning in the Seward County Courthouse at 9:00 a.m., except for the first Tuesday of each month when meetings will be held at 8:30 a.m. Notice of each meeting is posted on the Courthouse bulletin board and on the Commissioner’s room door. The agenda for all meetings is kept continually current and is available for public inspection at the County Clerk’s Office during normal business hours. The agenda is held open until one business day prior to the meeting for appearance before the Board. The Board has the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting. Approved Tax List Corrections. Convened as the Board of Commissioners. Approved the minutes of November 17, 2020. Officials gave updates of their offices. Discussion was held on Motorola Service agreement for 911. Commissioners gave an update of their activities. Discussion was held on committees and office liaisons of Commissioners. Authorized Chairman to sign the Year-End Highway Supt. Certification for 2020. Approved changes to the current Seward County Snow Policy as presented by Terry Wicht, Highway Supt. Approved Completion of the County Bridge Match Program Agreement. Discussion was held on an offer from Nolan Eickhoff to upkeep abandoned cemeteries. Offer was declined as the county already has a plan in place. Executive session was held to discuss personnel. Accepted resignation of Brea Ehmen, HR Director, effective December 1, 2020.
