Mayor Kelley called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. Present: Bauer, Freeman, Parks. Absent: DeLong. Nebraska Open Meetings Act requirement met. APPROVE AGENDA AS SUBMITTED: Approved the agenda as presented. PUBLIC COMMENT: No comments. CONSENT AGENDA: Mayor Kelley read the Consent Agenda: a. Approve Minutes: 4/7/26 b. Approval of Claims: Accounts Payable - Totaling $330,701.00 c. Approve Treasurer’s Report for 3/26 d. Reports/Communications filed by Governing Board and City Personnel. SALARIES: $53,333.76 GENERAL FUND: See attached CURRENT BUSINESS: Consider hiring full-time employee and setting wage. Hired Dominic Rocole as a full-time maintenance employee starting $22.00 per hour. Consider final adoption of the Downtown Revitalization Program (DTR) Guidelines Attorney Aerts noted they have a team working diligently with SENDD & DED on the many documents and contracts. Trying to determine which documents SENDD will provide and which documents the attorneys need to address. There have been statutory changes that need to be addressed prior to the sub-recipient agreement being signed. Council tabled the adoption of the DTR Program guidelines to the June meeting. Update on Zuercher/Central Square Interlocal Agreement Council member Bauer noted an extension has been approved to the end of the year. Consider letter of resignation from Katie Sparks, Recreation Coordinator. Council accepted the letter of resignation from Katie Sparks as Recreation Coordinator. RESOLUTIONS AND ORDINANCES: ORDINANCE NO. 996 – AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MILFORD, NEBRASKA AMENDING MILFORD MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 5-403 TO PROVIDE DEFINITIONS FOR BICYCLES, SKATEBOARDS, ROLLER-BLADES, SCOOTERS, AND HOVERBOARDS; TO PROVIDE FOR RULES OF OPERATION.
