CITY OF MILFORD JULY 21 & 22, 2026 BUDGET WORK SESSION The following is a condensed form of minutes: A complete copy is on file at the Milford City Hall, 402 1st St., Milford, NE, or on the city’s website: milfordne.gov The Mayor and Council met in special session on July 21 & 22, 2026, at 6:30 pm. Mayor Kelley called the meeting to order. Present: Bauer, DeLong, Freeman, Parks. Nebraska Open Meetings Act requirement met. BUDGET PREPARATION FOR 2026-2027 FISCAL YEAR: The following funds were reviewed, and discussion was held pertaining to specific line items. Department heads available provided information for discussion. Cemetery, Police Dept., Fire Dept., Streets, Water, Sewer, Library, Sr. Center & Special Account, Parks, Pool, Recreation, General Fund, Economic Development, Bond Fund, Sinking Funds. Accountant Carmen Standley and Shane Butrick with HBE provided information on reserve amounts and projected year end totals. Transfers for each fund were determined. ADJOURNMENT: Meeting adjourned.
