Call meeting to order & announce Open Meetings Act is Posted 1.2. Public Notice as publicized per board policy The public notice was publicized in the Seward County Independent and posted at city hall, library and courthouse. The public notice was dated March 8, 2023. 1.3. Roll Call 1.3.1. There was none. 3. Reports 3.1. Administrator Reports Written reports were received from the administrators. 3.2. Student Board Report Madison Dominy presented her report to the board. 3.3. Superintendent's Report Dr. Fields gave the board a Legislative Update. LB 753- passed out of general file, and the three governor bills on school funding will come up for debate to the floor. Dr. Fields discussed with the board the Manufacturing Meeting for instance puzzled apprenticeships at SCC and Future Plans for students after high school. Safety and Security- NIAC which we have access to is a huge benefit. Dr. Fields asked the School Board if they were interested in doing School Visits in the near future, so they can see what is going on in the buildings. Letters of intent to return for teachers are due on March 16, 2023. Some of our high school staff helped support Concordia in a difficult time last week. 4. Discussion Items 4.1. Agricultural Related Issues This item was not discussed. 4.2. Preschool Changes for 2023-24 Dr. Hall Schmeckpeper discussed changes that will take place next year with our preschool program. 5.
