Preliminary Procedures 1.1. Call meeting to order & announce Open Meetings Act is Posted 1.2. Public Notice as publicized per board policy The public notice was publicized in the Seward County Independent and posted at city hall, library and courthouse. The public notice was dated August 5, 2026. 1.3. Roll Call 1.3.1. Action to excuse board members if necessary 1.4. There was none. 3. Discussion Items 3.1. D.A. Davidson- Options for Selling Bonds Paul from D.A. Davidson went over the options for the upcoming sale of the bonds. 3.2. JEO- Drawings and Update on Projects Bryan provided the board with updated drawings and updates on all the projects. 3.3. Summer Projects Adam and Dr. Fields discussed the summer projects. The kitchen hood at the high school is almost complete, painting is complete at the middle school along with the clamps at the high school. Rock was moved from the ballfield to the middle school to improve the look of the property. 3.4. 2026-2027 Superintendent's Goals Dr. Fields provided the board with his 2026–2027 goals. 4. Reports 4.1. Administrator Reports Written reports were received from the administrators. 4.2. Superintendent's Report New Teachers have been in the buildings the last few days getting things ready for the year and the all-staff convocation was August 10, 2026, at the high school. The Regional Meeting in York is scheduled for September 9, 2026. Dr. Fields discussed some state budget concerns and erate. All the staff is excited about the first day of school, which is August 12, 2026. The high school is positive three students, the middle school is positive 15 students and the elementary is a positive three students from last year. Our budget meeting is scheduled for August 24, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. 5. Action Items 5.1.
